As stated in the header please use this jailbreak if your phone fits into these categories. If you are unsure, please follow my Getting Started Guide to determine this information.

Now before we do anything we need to download a few files. First, the program we will use to jailbreak the phone is known as Pwnage Tool. It was not developed by me but by the iPhone Dev team and all credit goes to them. Please follow this link to their official blog page on the tool. At the bottom you will find download links. Download this file and put it in a folder on your desktop called jailbreak.
Next we need to download some firmware. To do this go to this site and navigate to download the correct firmware for your phone. We will be jailbreaking with the 3.1.2 firmware. The correct firmware will read your iphone type followed by (3.1.2/7D11). For instance, the correct firmware for the 3GS iphone would be 3G S (3.1.2/7D11). Download your firmware and place it in the folder called jailbreak which you created on your desktop.

Now it is time to jailbreak. Please watch the video below. In it I will guide you through the necessary steps. Please have your iphone connected to the computer but do not have itunes open.
